Performance Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City The Grenade Launcher features a four-sided railed handguard and a railed top, which allows for a variety of attachments, being the only heavy weapon with this feature thus far. However, it has a capacity of ten rounds rather than the MGL's actual capacity of six rounds. Interestingly, the Grenade Launcher is one of the very few weapons that is modelled correctly after the real-life weapon it is inspired from, as all other weapons in the game are heavily fictionalized hybrids of various weapons. The Grenade Launcher is fitted with a Magpul MOE carbine collapsible stock, appearing to be very similar to the one from the Pump Shotgun. Unlike the MGL, the in-game model features no adjustable OEG sight above the drum, but instead only a picatinny rail. In Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, the Grenade Launcher is based on the Milkor MGL multiple shot, revolver-type launcher, specifically the M-32A1/Mark 14 short-barrel variant. The weapon features an extended stock and a set of iron sights consisting of a front post and two different rear sights: a flip-up dual aperture sight for short-range engagements and a folding ladder-type leaf sight for long distance firing. In The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, the weapon takes form of an HK69A1 grenade launcher.
